Hello there!
I’m Sigit (pronounced see-h-geet, with a g like in golf), originally from Indonesia and living in Singapore since 2016.
I’ve been a product/UX designer since 2007. My career began at Oracle, where I gained a strong foundation in enterprise design. At Ice House, I stepped into startups, learning to lead teams, run workshops, and present to clients. At Bukalapak, I contributed during its seed stage, experiencing the fast pace of early e-commerce growth.
At DBS Bank, I joined as AVP Product Design in the pioneering UX team, shaping digital banking onboarding and mobile app improvements while championing UX practices within a corporate setting.
Later, I moved to Vrbo (Expedia), where I led design and managed teams across APAC, focusing on growth initiatives and stay experiences. This was followed by Shopify, where I tailored the product for China and Asia Pacific markets within the International Growth team.
At Tripadvisor, I worked on Vacation Rentals products like Holiday Lettings, navigating challenges and opportunities in the travel sector during the pandemic.
Today, I’m at YouTrip, Southeast Asia’s leading travel wallet, heading a small team on market expansion and new 0–1 initiatives.

In real life, I have a small family, and now I am a father and a husband. I enjoy spending time with them when I am not at work. I am also a big fan of Lego and photography. I also like travel.
I blog on the side, and sometimes vlog on Youtube, both personally and on the theme of family travel.
